It examines how exposure to political unrest—including violence, intimidation, and academic disruption—affects mental health outcomes such as anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other trauma-related conditions.
Focusing on university students, the study investigates the relationship between political trauma and emotional resilience in a socio-political environment marked by frequent instability. The research also assesses coping strategies and institutional responses to mental health challenges within academic communities affected by political conflict.
